The journey

From first contact to finished book

  1. 01

    First contact and brief

Anita came to us with a finished manuscript, a clear sense of the story's dark, intense atmosphere — and no artwork, typography or promotional assets of any kind.

  2. 02

    Concept and direction

We turned her story concept into a visual direction: tone, colour, typography and the dramatic mood the front cover needed to project at thumbnail size and in print.

  3. 03

    Front cover design

A striking front cover built to work as a small thumbnail online and as a full-size print cover on a shelf.

  4. 04

    Back cover and spine

The back cover was arranged with the book description, author information, photograph, ISBN and publishing details, and the spine was designed to connect naturally to both sides.

  5. 05

    Print-ready wraparound files

Front, spine and back were delivered as one continuous, upload-ready wraparound cover, plus a separate front-cover file for eBook stores and promotion.

  6. 06

    Cinematic book trailer

Using the finished cover and the book's themes, we produced a cinematic trailer with pacing, atmosphere and music designed to make viewers want to know how the story ends.

  7. 07

    Launch-ready assets

The author finished the project with a complete, consistent set of assets: a professional cover, a shareable trailer and a book presented the way a traditionally published title would be.

I'm absolutely delighted with the final cover of Devastation. Richard took the idea behind my book and turned it into a powerful, dramatic design that captures the emotion of the story perfectly. The front cover is striking, and the back cover presents the blurb and details in a clear and professional way. I also love how the spine connects naturally with both sides, making the entire wraparound cover feel like one complete design. The finished cover looks polished, dramatic, and professionally published. Richard paid close attention to the details and made sure the front, spine, and back worked together beautifully. I'm very pleased with the final result and proud to see Devastation presented this way.

The trailer

Bringing the book to life

A cinematic book trailer built from the author's concept and the finished cover — designed to capture the atmosphere, tension, and themes of the novel and turn viewers into readers.

The trailer brought my book to life. I was genuinely impressed with how the trailer captured the atmosphere, tension, and themes of my book. The visuals and pacing created a cinematic presentation that made the story feel engaging and left viewers wanting to know more. It was professional, creative, and gave my book a completely different level of presentation.
